      ROBINSON-ARMSTRONG

A very pretty wedding was solemnised on the evening of August 30, when Kathrine Mary, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Armstrong, was united in matrimony to William E, son of Mr. and the late Mrs. Robinson, of Yallingup. The marriage took place at "Ravenswood" the home of the bride's parents at Yasse and the Rev.' Fr. Brosnan performed the ceremony.

The bride looked lovely in a frock of magnolia satin, the skirt of which was finely pleated at the back and formed a train; the bodice was finished at the neck with a dainty collar. The puffed sleeves were close fitting from the elbow and finished with a point over the hand; the beautiful fine tulle veil which formed a train and was held in place by a coronet of cream flowers, was worn over the face", during the ceremony and thrown hack later. A dainty bouquet of cinararias and fern completed her toilet.

The bride was attended by her sister Bessie, who looked very dainty in a long frock of pink taffeta, with applique of blue flowers. She carried a bouquet of pink sweet peas and fern. The duties of best man were ably carried out by Mr. Douglas Armstrong, brother of the bride.

A reception; was held at Ravenswood where about forty guests were received by Mrs. Armstrong, who wore a frock of blue reversible crepe with felt hat to tone, and carried a posy of violets and fern.

After the reception the party adjourned to the Carbunup Hall where a gift evening had been arranged for the young people.

A very happy time was spent and many useful and valuable presents were received. After a dainty supper had beer served the happy couple left for their future home at Yallingup, the bride travelling in a smart blue wool costume with hat and shoes to match, and topped by a well cut black coat.
