    • 1904 LOST IN THE BUSH

LOST IN THE BUSH. THE MENZIES CASE.
      Menzies, February 18.

The anxiety caused by the report that Mr. Seymour Pead had been lost in the bush between Menzies and Mount Ida was dispelled this morning, when the search party returned. They reported having met a resident of Mount Ida on the road. and he informed them of Pead's safe arrival at his destination. There report made to the police on the subject was greatly exaggerated, as it appears that Pead was not lost during the journey, although he had to go into the bush after his horse. [1]
