      ST. MARY'S CATHEDRAL was the scene of the wedding yesterday, at 8-45 p.m., by Dr. Kennedy, of Joan Mary, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Bennison, of Fifth-avenue, Mt. Lawley, and "Augustus William, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Haigh, of Redfern street. Subiaco.

      The bride, given away by her father, wore a frock of dull-finish crepe, with satin stripe, designed with high neckline finished with a roll collar. The skirt was inlet with a satin panel which formed a short train, and over this was worn a short tulle veil with a frangipani top-knot. She carried a sheaf of Easter lillies.

      Miss Agnes Bennison chose a bustled picture frock of mauve water wave taffeta, with shoulder length tulle veil held at the side with tiny bows. She carried a sheaf of. gladioli in tones of pink. Mr. Bill Gilbert was best man.

      Mrs. Bennison, wearing a frock of cyclamen sheer, received guests at Riley's Hall after the ceremony. The .bride's travelling frock was of turquoise blue crepe. [2]
