    • The Late Mr. Angus McColl.
      By the death of Mr. Angus McColl of Mt. James station, which occurred in Perth on August 31 the Gascoyne has lost one. of the most competent and reliable station managers in the district.The late Mr. McColl was born in New South Wales but came to the West many years ago.

      At the out break of the Great War he enlisted with the Australian Light Horse, and on his return to this State he and his brother, the late Mr. Neil McColl, acquired Mt. James and by their good management made a success of this property.

      The brothers were well known prior to the war in the droving business and were looked upon as most competent and reliable. The late Mr. McColl was buried at Karrakatta on September 2. He was unmarried but has left four sisters to mourn his loss. [1]

    A. McColl arrived in Cue last week with 170 head of good forward and fat cattle, which were trucked and sent on to Midland Junction. The cattle name from Mt James Station, which is owned by Mr. McColl and his brother.
