    • Death of Mrs James Dodd
      On Friday last, April 12th. there passed away at Watheroo one who was widely known throughout the Midlands in the person of Mrs. James Dodd.

      She had been in failing health for some time and her passing was the occasion for great sorrow to her numerous relatives and a deep regret to her many friends and acquaintances.

      In her early life she lived on the Upper Swan. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morley of that district. She came to Myniloo, Dandaragan, and it was there that she met her future husband. For many years they lived in the, Dandaragan district, and then at Moora, Coomberdale, and other places, and eventually settled at Watheroo. She reared a large family of four sons and six daughters. Her eldest son Frank' was killed in the war [1]
