Occupation |
Mr John Sims, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Charles Sims, who for many years lived at the Well Station, where Mr Hugh Hamersley, JP., now lives.
Mr and Mrs Sims, senr have long since gone to their, long home of rest, leaving behind them three sons and one daughter, who are worthy successors, and a credit to their memory.
Mr Sims has a holding of 100 acres. He cropped only ten acres last season. From Mr Sims' conversation I glean that he intends to go in largely for pigs and poultry. This farm is no doubt well situated for such an industry, as it is close to market as well as a railway siding. I wish Mr Sims luck in his undertaking. [1] |
