    • WILUNA NEWS
      A well and favourably known drover throughout the north west stock routes of the State in Patrick Kilmurray expired in the Wiluna Hospital on Monday after a short illness.
      In association with Barney Crampton and Nick Kirwin, deceased discovered and worked a P. A. at Mt. Eureka, from which the partners obtained high results. Deceased was buried in the Wiluna cemetery.

    Link to Google MapsDroving - COUNTRY NEWS. Patrick Kilmurray was charged with an offence under the Droving Act. Defendant who pleaded guilty of travelling stock through the Lake Way Nundah and Mt Keith stations without first giving the requisite notice, was fined £1 and costs for each of the cases. During the past 3 years 100,000 head of stud sheep from the eastern States have been imported by the stations between here and Menzies. -

    • Patrick Killmurray
      was born about 1880 in Dongara. His father Patrick arrived via the Robert Small on the 19.8.1853. He marrried Bridget Murphy on the 21.2.1868 who arrived on the 2.1.1867 via the Bride.

      Patrick listed his place of residence as North Pool 1903, Darlot 1912, Upper Gascoyne 1916, Wongawol Creek 1925. Generally he was in the vincity of Leonora and Wiluna. Patrick was also involved with Nick Kirwan in a mining venture.

      Police Court Wiluna Drover Charged.
      At the Wiluna Police Court Oct 28th, before Messrs H. J. Urquhart and A. Paterson J.P, P.Kilmurray was changed with committing a breach ot the Drovers Act 1902 by travelling stock on Lake Way station without first giving the necessary notice.

      The manager H. J. Lukin appeared on behalf of the station owners. The defendant pleaded guilty and was fined £1/0/0 with £4/2/6 costs. Similar charges were laid against the defendant by D.Dunn of Nindah station and P.Mulcaster of Mt Keith Station. Defendant was find £1 and cost in each case. [12]
