A. Baumgarten in Mullewa when they celebrated the 55th anniversary of their wedding, which took place at Tumbarumba, New South Wales.
Mr. Baumgarten, who is 82 years of age, is one of the few surviving members of that band of pioneers known as the "Canning Expedition" who blazed the trail from North to South when surveying the Canning Stock Route.
